Relate for Parents

Not all relationships work and when couples decide to separate it is often a very emotional and difficult time for children too.  Relate for Parents is counselling session (usually just one) specifically to help parents help their children through the transition.

The session: 

• Focuses on the children
• Gives information on coping with the impact of separation on your children
• Explores and agrees helpful ways to communicate and behave
• Gives information on children’s age related reactions to family breakdown

Is there a charge?

In most cases Relate makes a charge for its services to clients but does not aim to make a profit.  Ask about charges when you contact the Centre.
